On September 21, 2007 The Insurance Alliance of Central PA held their third carrier-recognition event, Connections 2007, at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey.

The Insurance Alliance sponsored Connections 2007 as an opportunity for its employees to interact with the insurance company employees that they work with on a daily basis, as well as regional and executive management. Participating were CEO’s, Regional Vice Presidents, Underwriting Managers, Claims Managers, Field Representatives, Underwriters and other key insurance company personnel from 28 different insurance companies.

Alliance President and CEO Jane Koppenheffer also announced the selection of Selective Insurance Group as the Commercial Lines Carrier of the Year, and Donegal Insurance Companies as the Personal Lines Carrier of the Year. The event concluded with the announcement of winners of the Connections trivia contest, featuring little-known facts about both the Alliance member agencies as well as the attending companies.
